Tamales de Elote (appetizer)
These tamales, known as "Uchepos" in the state of Michoacan, Mexico, are great appetizers. They are made with corn kernels ground into masa (dough) which gives them the light sweet flavor of corn. We serve them topped with Mexican cream and queso fresco.

Mole Rosa de Taxco (vegan)
Another one of the delicious secrets of Mexican cuisine. Tradition says this typical mole from Taxco was inspired by the color of the stones from the church Santa Rosa de Prisca. It is made with nuts, pine nuts, Mexican spices, and beets which give the mole it's color. Served with croquetas de quinoa and vegetables, white rice, beans, and tortillas. For the meat lovers option request it with pork tenderloin or chicken breast. (gluten free)

These tamales are one of the most traditional tamales from Oaxaca often made for special occasions. We are serving three tamales filled with Mole Amarillito and shredded pork wrapped in banana leaves and steamed. Served with a cup of black bean soup.
