We tried these for the first time in Mexico City and loved their flavor and simplicity. They are thick handmade tortillas topped and re-fried beans, chicharon (crispy pork skins), and cotija cheese. (gluten free) $5.75
Tilapia a la Milanesa
This is a sauteed filet of breaded tilapia served with an avocado salsa, rice, lettuce and tomato.
Like most of the traditional Mexican chicken stews Pollo Estofado is made with a combination of dried peppers, tomatoes, and Mexican spices to create a tasty sauce. Cooked with chicken breast and potatoes and served with rice, beans, and tortillas. (gluten free with white or green rice)
Tamales de Verduras
These tamales are filled with chopped vegetables like zucchini, potato, chayote, and onion in a tomato sauce that are than wrapped in corn husks and steamed. We serve them topped with Mexican cream and cotija cheese and a side of beans.
Baja Fish Tacos
Three tacos of battered cod with a chipotle aioli, topped with red and green cabbage and a sprinkling of queso fresco. Served with rice and beans.
This is a large handmade tortilla that is topped with re-fried beans, salsa verde, your choice of beef, chicken, ground beef, pork, grilled steak, grilled chicken, or pork al pastor, chihuahua cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, and Mexican cream.
Chocolate Flan (dessert)
A flan made with chocolate served with a berry salsa and a touch of vanilla ice cream.
