   cup $3.25 | bowl $5.75

 Tri Colored Sopes (appetizer)
Three slightly thick handmade tortillas in the colors of the Mexican flag in celebration of Mexico's Independence Day (September 16th) topped with re-fried black beans, chorizo, Oaxacan cheese, sliced onion, and a side of hot jalapeño salsa.  A very typical street food in all of Mexico!
(gluten free without chorizo)    $7.50

Tamal de Cazuela de Verduras
This warm bubbling tamale is cooked in the oven in a casserole (cazuela) dish rather than wrapped in banana leaves or corn husks.  It is filled with grilled vegetables (zucchini, egg plant, mushrooms, and more), a roasted salsa and is topped with masa, cheese, and Mexican cream.  An abundance of flavors!   (gluten free)

Pollo Encacahuatado

One of Mexico's most traditional dishes all over the country.  It's base is peanuts (cacahuates) which with other ingredients added create a wonderfully crafted sauce.  This does have habanero chiles in the mix (you know we love habanero peppers) which offer just the right touch of heat, spicy but not too spicy!  Served with rice, beans, and tortillas.  (gluten free with white or green rice)

Chile Relleno de Camaron

This chile we first tried in Ixtapa, Mexico and really enjoyed it.  It is a poblano chile filled with sauteed shrimp and topped with a seafood salsa.  Served with rice and beans.
(gluten free with white or green rice).

Tacos de Carnitas

Three tacos of traditional slow cooked pork on corn tortillas topped with sliced red onion and cilantro.  (gluten free)

This is a large handmade tortilla that is topped with re-fried beans, salsa verde, your choice of beef, chicken, ground beef, pork, grilled steak, grilled chicken, or pork al pastor, chihuahua cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, and Mexican cream.

Chocolate Flan (dessert)

A flan made with chocolate served with a berry salsa and a touch of vanilla ice cream.
(gluten free)
