We tried these for the first time in Mexico City and loved their flavor and simplicity. They are slightly thick handmade tortillas topped with re-fried beans, chicharon (crispy pork skins), and cotija cheese. (gluten free) $5.75
Chile Relleno Estilo Tamal
Stuffed chile poblano with a mixture of three cheese's cooked tamale style wrapped in handmade masa. It is served with a roasted salsa topped with cotija cheese and served with rice and beans. (gluten free with white or green rice)
Mole con Lomo de Puerco
This is another of the traditional and festive moles of Mexico cooked for special occasions. It is made with ancho chiles, guajillo chiles, nuts, sesame seeds, and more to create a complex delicious mole, served with pork loin or chicken breast, rice, beans, and tortillas.
Tamal de Cazuela de Verduras
This warm bubbling tamale is cooked in the oven in a casserole (cazuela) dish rather than wrapped in banana leaves or corn husks. It is filled with vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, mushrooms, and more), a roasted salsa and is topped with masa, cheese, and Mexican cream. An abundance of flavors! (gluten free)
Baja Fish Tacos
Three tacos of battered cod with a chipotle aioli and topped with red and green cabbage, Baja California style. Served with rice and beans.
This is a large handmade tortilla that is topped with re-fried beans, salsa verde, your choice of beef, chicken, ground beef, pork, grilled steak, grilled chicken, or pork al pastor, chihuahua cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, and Mexican cream.
